By Erik Skopil, Duck Territory: Autzen Stadium had a familiar feel to it on Saturday morning.
Its stands had sat empty for the past 18 months or so — even on game days during the 2020 season. However, Saturday saw the return to fans inside Autzen. It wasn’t full capacity. It wasn’t even close to that, as no more than 1,500 fans were allowed to be in attendance for what was the first scrimmage of spring, and the first event at Autzen with any fans since Nov. 30, 2019 when the Ducks bested Oregon State to close the 2019 regular season.
