By Keegan Pope, On3: Georgetown (Texas) three-star offensive tackle Kaden Scherer took one visit to Texas and knew that’s where he wanted to play his college football.
The Lone Star State standout, who had been committed to Stanford since June, flipped his pledge to the Longhorns on Monday after being in Austin over the weekend.
“It’s the true package — life, academics, and football … that makes it such a good fit,” he told Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman after his visit, “And it’s just a hard call because of the relationship (I have) with Stanford.”
