During the Cougars’ 42-10 win over Hawaii on Saturday, Mathers recorded his fourth touchdown of the season, a nine-yard reception early in the second quarter. With that score, Mathers tied Chris Leighton (1987) for the most receiving touchdowns by a Cougar tight end in a single season.
“I did not (know that),” Mathers said.
