BuffStampede: Jay Humphries is one of the very best CU Buffs ever to do it. His career assist mark stood at Colorado for 37 years. Humphries went on to play 788 games in the NBA — third-most in Buffaloes history and just one of 26 players to make the league — and have an executive coaching career.
McKinley Wright IV broke Humphries’ 562 career assist mark set in 1984 on Thursday by dishing out 12 dimes in an 89-60 Colorado win.
