Colorado wide receiver undergoes surgery ahead of season opener

By Jack Carlough, Buffaloes Wire: Ahead of his first season with the Buffs, incoming Colorado football transfer Cordale Russell posted a picture of himself preparing for surgery on Tuesday morning.

The nature of Russell’s injury is unknown, but one would expect the former TCU wide receiver to miss a considerable amount of time. Russell committed to Colorado in December as one of head coach Deion Sanders’ first offseason transfer portal acquisitions.
