By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: With this week’s transfer portal additions of former Alabama wideout Malik Benson and West Virginia defensive lineman Tomiwa Durojaiye, Florida State moved up in the latest top 10 team rankings update. Mike Norvell and the Seminoles come off a 13-1 season in which more than a dozen impact transfers largely led their roster.
Florida State is the only team inside the top-10 transfer team rankings with fewer than 10 new additions. However, the Seminoles targeted a quality-over-quantity mentality. The transfer window closed last week following the College Football Playoff semifinal matchups and official visits have resumed this month for players still on the market.
