By Jack Freeman, Buffaloes Wire: While head coach Deion Sanders made it clear that the college football world would get its first look at the much-anticipated Julian Lewis against Delaware, he didn’t mention how it would happen.
Once starter Kaidon Salter led the Buffaloes to a 10-0 lead early, many assumed that maybe we wouldn’t see Lewis and that Salter had played his way out of a competition. Little did we know that second drive would be Salter’s last until late in the third quarter, with Lewis and sophomore Ryan Staub getting their chance to lead the Buffaloes’ offense.
