Buff Stampede: A day after the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame announced Nate Landman as the 2020 Colorado College Male Athlete of the Year, the Buff linebacker was able to shed the walking boot on his injured leg. Landman is now eight weeks into recovery, after suffering a ruptured Achilles in the Buffaloes’ regular season finale against Utah.
A Butkus Award semifinalist in 2020 and a two-time first-team all-conference selection, Landman sits at No. 10 on CU’s career tackles list and 12th in tackles for a loss. Buffs head coach Karl Dorrell is hopeful to have Landman back for a full senior season.
