BuffStampede: Karl Dorrell did not enter into an ideal situation at CU when he was hired on Feb. 22. And that was before the COVID-19 pandemic began in the United States, resulting in the cancellation of spring ball and the postponement of the season. Mel Tucker’s departure was unexpected and later on the calendar than a typical coaching change, Dorrell inherited a small senior class, very little experience in the quarterback room, and he took over a program that has only enjoyed one winning season in the last 14 years.
