By Griffin Dreifaldt, Buffaloes Wire: Following the devastating loss of former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Dominiq Ponder this weekend, a photo has surfaced from Monday’s practice, showing head coach Deion Sanders standing in front of a screen displaying designs for a Dominiq Ponder jersey patch.
It was announced that Ponder tragically died in a car accident on Sunday morning. Sanders, along with his players and the entire football program, shared heartfelt messages about Ponder and just how painful this loss has been for everyone connected to the team.
