By Adam Munsterteiger, BuffStampede: Since undergoing back surgery in December, Jacksonville (Ark.) High defensive lineman Tyas Martin has made continued progress toward a full recovery. The future Buff cleared another hurdle this past Wednesday.
“I went to the doctor and they did an X-ray and an MRI, and all my results came back looking good,” explained the 6-foot-3, 315-pound Martin. “I got cleared to do workouts and play football. Everything looked good, so it was great news.
“The doctor told me he wanted me to start working out. I still go to therapy here and there, but it is nothing too major. I am back to doing normal workouts.”
