By Charlie Strella, Buffaloes Wire: Newly hired Colorado athletic director Fernando Lovo made his first significant move as AD earlier this week when he signed women’s basketball coach JR Payne to a contract extension.
Now Lovo is out to find new revenue streams for Colorado’s athletic department, and perhaps that could start with a certain brand’s jersey patch.
After Arkansas recently announced a deal with Tyson Foods to display a patch on its football jerseys, Buffalo Wild Wings asked Colorado whether it would be interested in partnering with the similarly named brand.
