By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: College football will feature several significant rules changes during the 2024 season, most of which were designed to make the sport closely mirror its NFL counterpart.
John McDaid, the SEC’s coordinator of football officials, said earlier this summer college football’s primary goal is to “adopt more of the NFL model” in a hybrid format and believes the game will improve as a result.
