Ducks Territory: When the Los Angeles Chargers drafted quarterback Justin Herbert as the No. 6 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, they made it clear that they wanted to take things slow and bring the quarterback along at a steady pace.
With veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor under contract for 2020, it would allow Herbert o get the reps he needed in practice without having to be brought into a game situation too early in his development.
