By CougFan.com: Washington State cornerback Chau Smith-Wade today made official his intent to enter the NFL draft this spring and gave a shout out to Cougar fans for “taking me and treating me like family.” In a Twitter post he said attending WSU was “one of the best decisions I ever made.”
Last month he accepted an invitation to the Feb. 3 Senior Bowl, a post-season all-star game open only to outstanding players who will be available in the upcoming draft. But today’s announcement makes his plan official.
