Bear Territory: The NCAA’s extra year of eligibility presented the chance for even college football’s longest-tenured active players to spend another year. But for sixth-year Cal senior Zeandae Johnson, he will not entertain a seventh year of college. With two degrees in hand, Johnson announced Monday that he will enter the 2021 NFL Draft.
When asked about a possible seventh year of college football in the 2020 preseason, Johnson said that he hoped to accomplish all he needed to in his sixth year.
