By Jeff Faraudo, Cal Sports Report: Cal coach Mark Madsen announced Tuesday that senior point guard Devin Askew will miss the rest of the season due to a nagging left foot injury and will apply for a medical redshirt year with the hope of returning next season.
Askew, who came to Cal a year after one-season stints at Kentucky and Texas, has played just six games this season.
