By Joe Tipton, On3 Sports: BYU transfer center Aly Khalifa is headed to the Bluegrass State but it won’t be to play for his former head coach Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats. In fact, the 6-foot-11 junior will be playing for the in-state rival — the Louisville Cardinals.
Khalifa, who is originally from Egypt, considered a final group of Louisville, Kentucky, and a return to BYU before ultimately choosing the ‘Cards and new head coach Pat Kelsey.
