Young is living up to expectations. On Monday night he added another big piece when the Xavion Staton, the No. 23-ranked played in the 2025 class, committed to the Cougars live on the 247Sports YouTube Channel.
A 6-foot-10 center from Las Vegas (Nev.) Sierra Vista, Staton committed to BYU after a weekend visit.
