By Kevin Matthew Borba, Athlon Sports via Yahoo Sports: The spring window of the college football transfer portal closed on Friday, which means that players can no longer leave a program, barring a coaching change.
While this may not seem like the biggest of deals, programs across the country are breathing a huge sigh of relief.
Not only does this mean that whoever hasn’t entered the portal has chosen to remain with the team, but it also means that programs from across the country can no longer attempt to lure away star players.
