Duck Territory: As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head into NFL Championship Sunday, they’ll be welcoming their return specialist back to practices this week. The Buccaneers have designated former Oregon running back Kenjon Barner to return to practice on Wednesday following a groin injury that has kept the return specialist out of the playoffs.
While designated to return to practice, the Buccaneers can leave Barner on the injured reserve for up to 21 more days without having to move him to the active roster. With less than three weeks left in the NFL Playoffs, it’s no guarantee that Barner has to be activated again this season.
