By Robbie Weinstein, 247Sports: Coaching change season got off to an early start in college football this fall, as five Power Five programs have already either fired their head coaches or agreed to a mutual parting: Arizona State, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.
One potential candidate for some of those jobs who has been reported as a name of interest is former Virginia and BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall, who left UVA after last season citing a need to recharge.
