By Alejandro Zuniga, 247Sports: There is “broad support” within leadership at the University of Michigan to move forward with a contract extension for Jim Harbaugh “as soon as possible,” a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to The Michigan Insider on Tuesday afternoon.
The source indicated that Michigan will consider guardrails within the new contract to protect itself in context of the nascent investigation into allegations of improper sign stealing.
