By Brett McMurphy, Action Network: In a college football season that has already had a record number of losses by Associated Press Top 25 teams, another rarity is a very real possibility this year.
LSU, Miami, Nebraska and USC — four of the biggest names in the sport that have combined for 11 national titles in the past 38 years — could all miss out on a bowl game. If so, it would mark the first time since 1960 that all four schools did not play in a bowl game in the same season.
