Who knew the Bible would accurately predict my Week 8 bowl projections in 2024?

But that’s where we are: the meek are taking over college football. For the first time since I started my bowl projections — approximately right around when man invented fire — my projections will include Vanderbilt, ULM and UConn.

I need to confirm it, but this might be a sign of the apocalypse.

Vanderbilt (4-2) and ULM (5-1), who were both predicted to finish last in their respective conferences, and independent UConn (4-2) could clinch a bowl bid before Halloween. All three schools have never been to a bowl in the same season.

So, before the world ends, here are my latest — and hopefully not my last — bowl projections.
