By Ezra Amacher, Arizona Desert Swarm: A half hour before kickoff of Arizona’s Homecoming game against Colorado, news broke that defensive tackle Isaiah Johnson suffered an injury during pregame warmups and needed to be helped off the field.
For a Wildcats defense already ailing from a string of injuries, Johnson’s pregame setback felt like a sick joke.
“The warmup one is crazy,” Arizona head coach Brent Brennan said after the 34-7 loss.
