Bowling Green hires UW assistant Greg Froelich as special teams coordinator

By Lars Hanson, Huskies Wire: The Washington Huskies are in the market for an assistant special teams coach with spring camp on the horizon.

After one season with UW as a quality control coach, working with first-year special teams coordinator Chris Petrilli, ex-Michigan offensive lineman Greg Froelich has been hired at Bowling Green as the Falcons’ special teams coordinator.

After one season at UW former Michigan letterman Greg Froelich, who served as a special teams assistant for the Huskies in 2025, has left for BGSU.
