247Sports: If you’re as passionate about college football bowl season as we are every year, you’re probably asking yourself, “How in the heck is all this going to work this season?” Believe us when we tell you — so are we.
Bowl organizations have said on the record this month to multiple outlets that strong efforts will be made to ensure long-standing matchup tie-ins happen during the postseason. Football Bowl Association associate director Nick Carparelli echoed those sentiments to 247Sports during an interview with Chris Hummer as well.
“I feel that this year the final record is going to have to minimized and the agreements that are in place between bowl games and conferences should be prioritized above all else,” Carparelli said.”
