These riled-up fans have been driven to the precipice by the Cougars’ 12-19 overall record and 7-11 mark in WCC games heading into this week’s WCC Tournament.
There’s no getting around the sloppy play that led to the disappointing record, including the 320th-worst rate of ball care in all of Division I, head-scratching losses to Idaho, San Diego, San Francisco, LMU and Pepperdine, and only one win on the road outside the state of Washington.
