By Boise State Athletics: National voters took notice of Ashton Jeanty’s dominant 2024 campaign, crowning him the winner of the 35th Doak Walker Award and the 88th Maxwell Award at Thursday’s ESPN Home Depot Awards Show. The Doak Walker Award is presented annually to the nation’s premier running back and the Maxwell Award is given to the player of the year.
He is the first player to earn both awards since Derrick Henry (Alabama, 2015) and the only Group of 5 player to earn both in the same season.
