By Boise State Athletics: Boise State and Idaho have agreed to play an exhibition game prior to the start of the 2025-26 season, it was announced on Tuesday.
“We appreciate Coach Rice and our coaching staff as well as Terry Gawlik and Coach Pribble for working together and creating this experience for our fan bases in downtown Boise,” said Jeramiah Dickey, Boise State Director of Athletics. “Our partners at Idaho Central Arena have been great hosts for us in regular season games in the past, and what better place to see this rivalry come back to life in what will be a great weekend across Boise State Athletics.
“It’s always What’s Next, and we look forward to continuing to work with Idaho and other schools in this state on opportunities in all sports to create even more notable games to watch and attend. We all have a seat at the table to make the state of Idaho even better through in-state matchups.”
