Who saw this coming a month ago?
Javan Buchanan had 17 points and made the play of the game in the final seconds on defense to help the Broncos to a massive 70-69 road win at Nevada on Saturday.
Since falling to ‘rock bottom’ as coach Leon Rice described following a loss at Colorado State that dropped the Broncos to 13-7 overall and 5-4 in Mountain West play, the Broncos have now rolled off six wins in their past seven games to improve to 19-8 on the year and 11-5 in league play.
