By Boise State Athletics: After leading Boise State to its third consecutive conference championship, Boise State head football coach Spencer Danielson has agreed to a contract extension through the 2030 season, Boise State Athletics announced on Monday. The contract is subject to final approval by the Idaho State Board of Education.
Danielson, who took the helm of Boise State football as the interim head coach towards the end of the 2023 campaign, has led the Broncos to a 24-8 record in his two-plus seasons as the head coach. He also lifted the Broncos to a top-10 national ranking and College Football Playoff appearance in 2024 as well as a 14-1 home record on The Blue and three straight conference titles.
