By Zoe Tuttle, KTVB.com: Boise State announced on Thursday that longtime football coach and current defensive senior analyst Ron Collins died Tuesday morning. He was 61.
Collins spent eight seasons on the Boise State staff throughout his 38-year coaching career.
Boise State Athletics in a news release said that Collins rejoined the Bronco coaching staff in 2022 and was promoted to assistant coach when head coach Spencer Danielson took over to close out the 2023 season.
