By The Commercial Appeal: It’s been more than eight months since Memphis declined an invitation to join the Pac-12.
While the conversation has quieted considerably since then, it has never gone away entirely. Most recently, on June 7, the topic gained some added attention when Boise State athletic director Jeremiah Dickey publicly offered his sentiment on the matter.
Dickey, whose Broncos will move from the Mountain West to the Pac-12 in 2026, put out a call for questions on social media. At least one came from a Memphis fan, who wanted to know if the Pac-12 is in the Tigers’ future.
