Bobby Hauck retires as Montana HC, WR coach Bobby Kennedy to replace him

By Montana Sports Information: Bobby Hauck, a Montana native, University of Montana alum, the winningest football coach in Big Sky Conference history, and among the winningest coaches in all of college football, announced his retirement as Grizzly head coach on Wednesday, effective immediately.

Hauck and Montana Director of Athletics Kent Haslam will address the media in a press conference set for 10 a.m. (MT) Wednesday in the Adams Center’s West Auxiliary Gym.

Hauck, the 37th head coach in Montana history, retires after 14 seasons leading his alma mater and 19 seasons overall as a head football coach. In that time, he became one of the winningest coaches in all of college football with a 166-92 (.643) overall record and a 151-43 (.778) record with the Grizzlies.
