By Daniel Libit, Sportico: Elevate has agreed to pay UCLA $4 million up front as part of a five-year ticketing revenue-share arrangement that grants the company a commission fee of 5% on the Bruins’ net ticket revenue, provided the university sells at least $100 million of athletic tickets over the term.
The deal defines the pie from which Elevate gets its piece as the gross revenue of all ticket sales minus any associated contributions season-ticket holders are made to pay to gain access for football or men’s basketball seats.
Elevate’s partnership with UCLA was announced in May 2024 but not finalized until this past September. Sportico recently obtained a copy of the services agreement through a public records request.
