247Sports: The Big Ten issued a statement Thursday afternoon in which the conference claimed there is “no merit” to the lawsuit filed by eight Nebraska Football players seeking for the Big Ten to reverse its postponement of the 2020 Fall Sports season. The Big Ten, in the statement, emphasized that its council of presidents and chancellors “overwhelmingly voted to postpone the season” and that it will continue to “defend the decision to protect all student-athletes” amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
