By Dean Straka, 247Sports: Indiana men’s basketball reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since going on to a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2016, but the 4-seed Hoosiers are once again headed home earlier than hoped for after a 85-69 loss to 5-seed Miami Sunday in the Round of 32.
Trayce Jackson-Davis alone was simply not enough for Indiana to continue its quest for a first Final Four appearance since 2002, as the Hurricanes dominated the Hoosiers in the paint en route to sending another Big Ten squad packing.
