Big 12 title matchup with BYU & Texas Tech on track to set attendance record

By Brian Preece, KSL Sports: This weekend’s No. 11 BYU Cougars vs. No. 4 Texas Tech Red Raiders conference title matchup is reportedly on track to set Big 12 Football Championship attendance records.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported on Wednesday, December 3, that tickets for the 10 a.m. kickoff at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, are already sold out nearly 72 hours before kickoff.

The current Big 12 Football Championship record of 84,523 was set in 2023 when the Texas Longhorns toppled the Oklahoma State Cowboys 49-21.
