Big 12 Conference, UConn Huskies pause expansion discussions

By Shehan Jeyarajah & Matt Norlander, CBS Sports: The Big 12 and UConn have paused discussions over potential expansion after engaging in conversations over the past several weeks. Despite a late push, both sides ultimately opted to move away from the bargaining table for now.

“As commissioner, it is my responsibility to explore a variety of value-creating opportunities on behalf of the Big 12,” commissioner Brett Yormark said in a statement.
