By Big 12 Conference: The bracket is set for the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship, held March 11-15 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. Houston, who matched a Conference record by winning the regular season title by four games, earned the top seed with a 19-1 record. The 2025 event marks the first with 16 schools and is the 25th time Kansas City has served as host.
No. 2 seed Texas Tech (15-5), No. 3 seed Arizona (14-6) and No. 4 seed BYU (14-6) earned the remainder of the coveted double-byes and will start their postseason in the quarterfinals on March 13.
No. 5 Iowa State (13-7), No. 6 Kansas (11-9), No. 7 Baylor (10-10) and No. 8 West Virginia (10-10) each earned byes, allowing teams to skip the first round and begin play on March 12.
The event begins with No. 12 Oklahoma State (7-13) facing No. 13 Cincinnati (7-13) at 11:30 a.m. CT/12:30 p.m. ET on March 11, followed by No. 9 TCU (9-11) taking on No. 16 Colorado (3-17) at 2 p.m. CT/1 p.m. MDT. No. 10 Kansas State (9-11) plays No. 15 Arizona State (4-16) at 6 p.m. CT/4 p.m. MST followed by No. 11 Utah (8-12) against No. 14 UCF (7-13) at 8:30 p.m. CT/7:30 p.m. MDT/9:30 p.m. ET.
