By Andrew Hughes, Sporting News: College football’s Week 0 kicks off the 2025 season on Saturday with an overseas matchup between the Iowa State Hawkeyes and Kansas State Wildcats. The Dublin, Ireland, battle of Big 12 schools will be a first-time international matchup on a neutral field between the two schools, but it’ll be the last of a 109-year annual tradition.
ESPN’s Dan Wetzel called Brett Yormark’s decision not to protect the rivalry part of college football’s “self-destructive ways” while pointing out that fact.
