By Chris Karpman, Sun Devil Source: Basha High School offensive lineman Jake Hildebrand on Tuesday became Arizona’s first top-ranked prospect to commit to Arizona State in more than a decade, according to 247Sports rankings.
Hildebrand, the No. 9 offensive tackle and No. 83 overall prospect in the 2027 class, became ASU’s highest-ranked offensive line commitment this century and the first No. 1 in-state commitment for Sun Devils since wide receiver N’Keal Harry in the 2016 class. Harry was ranked just outside the top 200 by 247Sports, making Hildebrand ASU’s top in-state commitment in the network’s history.
