Bartle: Utah protecting greatest attribute & investment is well worth $2.8M

At this point last week, Andy Ludwig was in talks with Notre Dame about their vacant coordinator position. The Fighting Irish courtship included a public appearance at a Notre Dame hockey game as well as a round-trip flight on a private jet.

It also included balking at the $2.8 million buyout and ultimately, Ludwig informing Notre Dame that he will pass on the job to remain at Utah.
