The conference’s biggest stars, most of whom project to come off the board very early in next year’s NFL Draft, will play instrumental roles in determining which team secures the league crown and the coveted first-round Playoff bye that will almost certainly come with it.
Ohio State, Oregon, Michigan and Penn State are in a tier of their own in the Big Ten and account for a disproportionate chunk of the conference’s most talented players. Their recruiting prowess and offseason acquisitions of the nation’s most elite transfers made their 2024 rosters incredibly deep with game-changing talent that most of the teams in this league simply cannot match.
