By Connor Whelan, Badgers Wire: After two weeks of the 2025 college football season, it’s safe to say that certain Big Ten quarterbacks have established themselves as the conference’s best, while others have not.
Returning starters, including Illinois’ Luke Altmyer, Nebraska’s Dylan Raiola, and Penn State’s Drew Allar, have mostly picked up where they left off last season. They’re all competing to try and lead their respective programs to the College Football Playoff.
Other first-year starters, including Ohio State’s Julian Sayin and Michigan’s Bryce Underwood, are adjusting to their new starting roles, even with the challenges they may face against higher competition. Meanwhile, transfers like Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza, Iowa’s Mark Gronowski, and Wisconsin’s Billy Edwards/Danny O’Neil are trying to prove that they were worthy additions to their teams.
As we head into Week 3, with Big Ten play just around the corner, here is an updated ranking of every starting quarterback in the Big Ten.
