Australian punter Clay Lawrence breaks down big move to Fresno State

By Jackson Moore, BarkBoard: In the past 11 seasons, the Fresno State Bulldogs have featured only three starting punters. Now with the job up for grabs in 2024, Australian commit Clay Lawrence could be the Bulldogs’ next option at the position.

The 2023 Bulldogs featured super-senior punter Carson King, a sixth-year Bulldog who started the past four seasons at punter. Before him, Blake Cusick was a four-year starter during the roller coaster ride of 2016 to 2019. Garrett Swanson was the Bulldogs’ punter from 2013 to 2015.
