By Griffin McVeigh, On3: Dan Lanning has yet to officially name a starting quarterback. Dante Moore and Austin Novosad are battling for the job, wanting to lead Oregon out onto the field for the Aug. 30 season opener against Montana State. At least from the outside, Moore appears to be the favorite to ultimately win out.
Even so, Novosad is confident in what he has done throughout preseason camp. When directly asked if he feels as if enough has been done, on his end, to be Oregon’s starter, he made that clear.
