By Athlon Sports: Utah State has been to three straight bowl games under coach Blake Anderson and could have the best offense in the league again in 2024 if quarterback Spencer Petras can jell with the weapons around him. The question is whether the defense will improve from its No. 123 ranking in points allowed (34.7 per game).

New defensive coordinator Nate Dreiling has arrived from New Mexico State, where his unit allowed just 22.8. If he can hit that number with the Aggies, Utah State will find itself in another bowl game.
